What a chemist needs to know about biology 1: In vitro biology

Introduction
This event is aimed at helping attendees understand the features and challenges of biology in pharmaceutical research. Lectures will improve your understanding of biochemistry and improve interactions with biology colleagues. You will have the opportunity to ask questions after the lectures and develop deeper knowledge. 

Included are tutorial-style lectures on fundamentals of in vitro assays and target selection. There will also be case studies applying these learnings to different target classes. Speakers from leading pharmaceutical companies will bring a wealth of experience in working cross-discipline. 

This conference is aimed at academic and industrial medicinal chemists in early stages of their career points, with a focus on in-vitro biology techniques in early stages of drug discovery.
