The time has come to register your interest in the °ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±¼Ç¼ Top of the Bench Competition 2024/25. The teams must consist of four students – two from year 9, one from year 10 and one from year 11. Please be mindful of the diversity in your team before applying.
This year’s competition is anticipated to be in two parts. All teams can participate in the regional heats (1), with the top schools progressing to participate in the regional final (2). All participating teams and schools will receive a certificate of participation, with prizes being awarded to the top performing teams and schools in the regional final. The regional final winning school will have the opportunity of representing the East Anglia Region at the National Final in 2025.
The East Anglia regional competition is planned to consist of the following rounds:
1. Monday September 30th to Friday October 11th, 2024 – a regional heat virtual quiz which can be completed remotely at a time of the school/teacher’s choosing.
2. Practical Science Investigation Day (date and location to be confirmed) – a regional final wherein practical experiments and tasks are performed within a laboratory.
