This symposium is the 5th meeting organized jointly between the Medicinal Chemistry Section of the
Swedish Academy of Pharmaceutical Sciences and the Biological and Medicinal Chemistry Sector of the
°ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±¼Ç¼, to showcase the very best medicinal chemistry in a stimulating environment. It is also designed to provide plenty of opportunities to meet other delegates, renew friendships and foster new contacts.
Programme outline: the following sessions are planned for:
I Kinases
II Challenges and future directions
in medicinal chemistry
III Breakthroughs in ADME and chemical
biology – impact on drug hunting
IV Enzyme inhibitors
V Receptors
The meeting will consist of 18 lectures, including:
Kevin Shokat, UCSF, USA, Tony Wood, Pfizer, UK,
Martin Drysdale, The Beatson Institute, UK and
Peter Sjö, AstraZeneca R&D, Sweden.
There will be an evening poster session and we
welcome abstracts for consideration;
