The impact of A.I. Vogel: Elements of the man, his research and globally influential practical chemistry texts

Introduction
This lecture by Professor John Bensted will summarise the key role played by Arthur Vogel in making practical chemistry texts available and amenable to all, as well as other aspects of his life and work
The lecture will be held in Pembroke Building on the University of Greenwich at

Medway Campus at Chatham Maritime. It will begin at 6.30pm and will be

followed by light refreshments.



Admission will be by ticket only. Tickets are free of charge and will be available

on a first-come, first-served basis. They can be requested by telephone or e-mail.
