Introduction
Bioanalytical Troubleshooting
One-day Workshop
28th September, 2016
Burlington House, Piccadilly, London

Summary

The International Reid Bioanalytical Forum will be holding a one day training workshop on the 28th September 2016 at Burlington House, Piccadilly in conjunction the South Eastern Region Analytical Division of the °ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±¼Ç¼.  The workshop is aimed at early career scientists who are looking to develop their troubleshooting skills in relation to chromatography based Bioanalytical challenges.  The training will also aim to put the Bioanalytical challenges into the context of drug development and discuss the associated ‘bigger picture’ issues.

Aims and Objectives

Aim: To demonstrate bioanalytical troubleshooting techniques to early career scientists through a combination of lectures and worked examples.
At the end of the course participants will be able to:
Approach bioanalytical problem solving in a stepwise and structured way
Present investigational strategies to project teams or line-management
The course will be an opportunity for participants to work through bioanalytical problems in a workshop environment, supported by experienced mentors.

Case Studies

The following subjects will be discussed as part of real case studies submitted by delegates:
Non-specific binding of analytes
The impact of unstable metabolites on bioanalytical methods
Investigation of failed ISR in a preclinical method using micro sampling
Challenges of analysing small endogenous molecules
Outsourcing bioanalytical method
