The Big Questions

12 October 2016 17:30-20:30, Norwich, United Kingdom

Introduction
How can Chemistry save the world? Will water ever be able to replace petrol? How do we get more energy from the sun? Why does orange juice taste so foul after brushing your teeth? The °ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±¼Ç¼ and UEA are offering teams from schools in the East of England the opportunity to answer their own Big Question. Your team (of up to 5 students from Years 10 and 11) will need to give an up to 7-minute talk, presentation, lecture or performance – with one demonstration – on your chosen topic. The judges will be none other than your own family... The winning team will be offered the opportunity to present their winning talk on stage at the Norwich Science Festival, during Chemistry Day (Wednesday 26th October). Contact Sean Thurston for more information, or to register a team.
