Speakers
Dr Glenn Crocker MBE, CEO of BioCity in Nottingham will open the Showcase event, with keynote talks by Dr Kirsty Gapp of 3M and Dr Stefan Ogrodzinski of BioStatus.
 
Dr Glenn Crocker, became CEO of BioCity Nottingham in 2003, growing it to be one of the largest bioscience incubators in Europe. 
Glenn was a founder of R5 Pharmaceuticals, which was subsequently sold to Aesica, and he is a non-executive director of a number of other companies including Mobius Life Sciences, Xenogesis and Medilink East Midlands. Dr Glenn Crocker was awarded an MBE in the Queen’s birthday honours list in 2014 for services to the Biotechnology Industry.

Dr Kirsty Gapp has a background in Molecular Biology and gained her PhD from the University of Warwick. She is currently the Global Business Team Leader for 3M’s Microneedle Platform and Business Manager for 3Ms Transdermal Drug Delivery Platform (Europe). 
Over the last 15 years Kirsty has held various technical and commercial roles within 3M Health Care with a focus on medical devices. She now works in 3M’s Drug Delivery Systems Division in the areas of transdermal and intradermal technology platforms.

Dr Stefan Ogrodzinski, CEO and Director of BioStatus, received his BSc (Hons) in Toxicology and Pharmacology from the School of Pharmacy, University College London in 1987, and his MBA from DeMontfort University in 1999. 
Stefan’s career has spanned the pharmaceutical industry, the healthcare sector, voluntary sector and educational sector. Stefan is also a Director of BioSuspensions, OncoTherics, BioTherics, BioCity Nottingham, BioCity Group, MediCity and Mobius Technology Ventures. 
He sits on the advisory panel of the Centre for Doctoral Training in Targeted Therapeutics and Formulation Science at Nottingham University.
