Mr Leonard Boothby obituary

Leonard Boothby BSc, CCHEM, M°ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±¼Ç¼ passed away peacefully on Monday 29 July at the age of 91. Achieving second class honours at Durham University in 1949, Leonard went on to a successful career as an industrial chemist, during which he developed several patents specifically in polymers and lipids.
His career culminated in being a Research and Development Director. Chemistry was a lifelong passion. His periodic tables were always by his bedside. He was a proud and long standing member of the Royal Society of Chemists and will be missed by many.
