The °ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±¼Ç¼ Chemical Biology and Bio-Organic Group invite you to their Forum meeting, which will take place in-person in the School of Chemistry at the University of Bristol.
This is the CBBG's annual meeting, bringing together the UK’s Chemical Biology community to showcase and discuss new research at the chemistry-biology interface.
Abstracts for oral presentations are welcome from postdoctoral researchers and academics/independent group leaders in their first ~5 years of appointment in the broad fields of chemical biology and bio-organic chemistry.
Abstracts are also welcome for poster presentations by postdoctoral researchers and PhD students.
Registration cost for attendance is £30 (without VAT).
Prizes will be awarded for both oral and poster presentations. Abstracts should be prepared by using the template provided.
The °ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±¼Ç¼ will nominate one early career researcher* from the oral presenters at the 2025 CBBG Forum to attend the Young Investigator Workshop (YIW) of the EuChemS Chemistry in Life Sciences Division on 10-11th October 2025, in Paris.
To be considered for the YIW, please submit an oral abstract for the 2025 CBBG Forum before the deadline of 6th December 2024. Candidates whose abstract is selected for the CBBG Forum and are eligible to attend the YIW will be asked if they want to opt-in for consideration.
* Eligible candidates for YIW will have successfully defended their first PhD > 2 and ≤ 10 years (with consideration of career breaks) and must be independent group leaders.
