This is part of the monthly webinar series of the 澳门六合彩开奖记录 PCTG. Reductions in the environmental burden in industrial manufacturing is of prime concern. Efforts today are directed towards fighting climate change, but also other environmental concerns such as water scarcity and eutrophication. This presentation will show how industries quantify the environmental burden of their manufacturing, how burden shifting is avoided and what tools and technologies are available to estimate reduction measures.
The speaker, Dr. Ulla L茅tinois received her master鈥檚 degree in chemistry in 2000 from the university of Oldenburg. After a 鈥淓uropean Label PhD鈥 in Leipzig, Germany and Strasbourg, France on the topic of Ag-catalyzed Sonogashira cross-couplings and related mechanistic studies with 109Ag-NMR, she held two postdoctoral positions, with Bernard Meunier at the LCC in Toulouse and with Jean-Pierre Sauvage at the university of Strasbourg. Since 2005 she has worked as a senior scientist in industrial process research with DSM and later DSM- Firmenich. Since 2010 she also specialized in Life Cycle Assessment in chemical processes and prospective LCA for future oriented LCA studies.
