A science culture vision for the chemical sciences
Building on °ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±¼Ç¼ activities exploring the cultural conditions that will best enable quality science for the benefit of society and taking inspiration from good practice examples in the science community, we have started to develop a science culture vision for the chemical sciences. As we develop this vision, we are seeking your views.
Share your views
To understand your views, we are hosting two focus groups where we will be consulting on a draft science culture vision that aims to set out what a positive science culture looks like. We are keen to explore to what extent this draft vision resonates with you, what it means in practice, and what opportunities and challenges you see in achieving it.
We invite you to share your views on:
- Wednesday 1 February at 10.30 - 12.30; or
- Thursday 16 February at 14.00 - 16.00
Each focus group will cover the same content, so it is sufficient to register for one.
Your inputs will inform our work on science culture
Informed by your inputs, we will launch our science culture vision that will enable us, as a community, to set a shared direction for positive change. This shared vision will go hand in hand with spreading resources and good examples towards achieving the vision and will enable us to identify further actions to support the community in creating a positive science culture.
