You will learn the different considerations when selecting a GC detector for a particular application.
This module provides a brief introduction into many types of detectors used in gas chromatography both universal and selective. Flame ionisation (FID), electron capture (ECD) and thermal conductivity (TCD) detectors are then covered in detail.
The module concludes with a questions and answers session.
This 2-hour module is taught live in a virtual classroom, is totally interactive with instrument parts and consumables shown & explained. There are small group sizes so plenty of opportunities to ask questions then get them answered on screen.
Cost: £100.00 + VAT.
This is module 5 of the Virtual Classroom Training: Practical Essentials of GC & GC-MS (total 18 hours over 5 days) and the Virtual Classroom Training: Complete GC & GC-MS (total 30 hours over 9 days).
