On behalf of the Local Organising Committee, we warmly invite you to attend the 8th Conference of the Federation of European Zeolite Associations (FEZA 2021), which will be held virtually, on 5-9 July 2021.
FEZA 2021 will include access to presentations (live and pre-recorded) from world leaders and experts, including industry symposia and ePoster presentations; available on-demand for up to three months after the congress.
The conference will be organized by the British Zeolite Association, under the auspices of the Federation of European Zeolite Associations – FEZA, and in collaboration with the °ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±¼Ç¼ Porous Materials Interest Group. We anticipate three parallel sessions covering a fascinating array of topics from fundamental science to advanced applications of a range of porous materials including:
Zeolites Metal-Organic Frameworks (MOFs) Porous Polymers
Covalent Organic Frameworks (COFs) Porous Carbons Porous Silicas
Porous Organic Cages AlPOs and other Zeotypes
Specific Topics of interest include:
Development of new synthetic methods and postsynthetic modification,
Physical properties of materials and the role of defects
Advanced characterization and operando spectroscopies
Stimuli responsive behaviour and emerging properties
Catalytic properties
Gas Adsorption, storage and separation
Biomedical applications
Ion exchange and other applications
Industry discussions
Computational prediction, verification and screening
We are particularly keen to attract early career researchers from across the wide spectrum of materials and topics covered, in order to foster discussion and long-lasting collaborations. Bursaries will be available from the BZA, the °ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±¼Ç¼ Porous Materials Interest Group as well as FEZA to facilitate this aim.
Awards
The 3rd Cronstedt Award along with the FEZA PhD prize will be awarded during the conference. Additionally, there will be a number of poster prizes.
We look forward to you joining us online for a fantastic conference.
