A one-day symposium at which PhD students and PDRAs from across the North of England and Scotland can meet with their peers and present the results of their research in any field related to electrochemistry. Both oral and poster presentation slots will be available, but oral presentations are aimed at PhD students who might otherwise not get the opportunity to speak during their PhD studies.
There will aso be keynotes from esteemed speakers in the field of electrochemistry including Professor Jin Xuan (Loughborough University), Dr Alison Parkin (University of York), Dr Damion Corrigan (University of Strathclyde), and Dr Mohamed Mamlouk (Newcastle University).
The symposium is free to attend for all, thanks to the generosity of the °ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±¼Ç¼ Electrochemistry Interest Group, Newcastle University and our industrial sponsors. We will have a number of prizes (6) for best oral and poster presentations, divided into categories bioelectrochemistry / general electrochemisty. We will run the event via the °ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±¼Ç¼'s GoTo meeting platform and therefore encourage everyone to sign up via the Eventbrite link that is provided. Poster format will be managed in a different way.
