The aim of this one-day seminar is to detail the socioeconomic and medical problems associated with the use of recreational drugs, and to review the available, and possible future developments in, the analytical methodology used to detect drug abuse. The program will be especially interesting for forensic pathologists, medical practitioners, those in the medico-legal professions, and trainees in forensic and analytical toxicology
