Advanced inorganic materials: green and unconventional synthesis approaches and functional assessment

5 - 7 September 2018, Padova, Italy

Introduction
The Advanced inorganic materials: green and unconventional synthesis approaches and functional assessment (AIM 2018) will be a workshop dedicated presenting to both students and experienced researchers the main features and potentialities of unconventional and/or green synthesis approaches for the preparation of advanced inorganic materials. Focus will be also devoted to the assessment of the functional properties of this class of materials. The presentations will mainly have an introductory and didactical scope, with in mind an audience of Ph.D. students and researchers who do not yet employ green or unconventional methods but are interested in discovering their unique potential.

There will be no registration fees, but registration will be mandatory.

We are furthermore proud to announce that the Journal "materials" from MDPI will dedicate a Special Issue to the Workshop. Instructions to submit your manuscript to the journal can be found on http://www.mdpi.com/journal/materials/special_issues/AIM_2018

It is of paramount importance to note that September brings more tourists to Padova than any other month of the year. This is compounded by the fact that (from the 2nd to the 12th of September) the "Festival del Cinema" will take place in Venice. This event will attract thousands of visitors, and many of them will look for hotels in the neighbouring city of Padua instead of the very expensive Venice.

Therefore, it is highly recommended to book an accommodation in advance.
