‘Maths for chemists’ will take a hands on approach to the actual questions that are being set by the different boards for GCSE and A level with a chance to examine any commonality and frequency within such quantitative questioning.
'Maths for chemists’ will be delivered by Chemistry Education Consultant Dave Waistnidge. Dave taught chemistry up to A level/IB for well over thirty years, being ‘Head of Chemistry’ for most of that time. He has co-authored several A level textbooks and revised/evaluated chemistry resources for both publishers and the °ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±¼Ç¼. In addition he’s been an examiner in chemistry, initially at GCSE level, but for the past nearly twenty years, as Principal examiner for one of the exam boards, writing A level chemistry papers. He recently retired and took on the role of chemistry consultant for STEM/°ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±¼Ç¼, working mainly in the SW, where he has run several courses.
