The current speed at which novel high-throughput technologies are developed and large-scale biological data are produced offers tremendous opportunities for enhancing our molecular understanding of biological systems. One of the biggest challenges will be to interpret these large-scale biological 鈥渙mics鈥 data and to develop computational and statistical approaches to generate a coherent biological model that will enable us to address novel questions about the consequences of genetic and environmental perturbations in complex biological systems.
This conference will provide a platform for bringing together leading researchers from computational biology and various 鈥渙mics鈥 fields (e.g. genomics, genetics, proteomics, metabolomics, lipidomics, etc) to present their latest work and discuss applications, future ideas and challenges for integrating large-scale biological data across different biological technologies and disciplines.
Aims
This conference aims to bring together experts from various 鈥榦mics fields and computational biology to discuss applications and inspire new ideas for integrating and interpreting data across the different omics technologies. We believe it will provide a interdisciplinary platform for discussing future collaborations between the different omics fields.
