Synopsis
The objective of the meeting is to promote scientific interactions between researchers in the field and to showcase the key role that synthesis plays in the development of new agrochemicals. New crop protection products are important tools for overcoming the huge challenges that modern agriculture faces – to increase food production and yield in a cost effective and sustainable manner with limited farmland and water supplies and loss of existing solutions through development of resistance or regulatory pressures.Confirmed speakers include Prof Ian Baxendale (Durham Univ.), Prof. Greg Challis (Warwick Univ.), Prof. Joe Harrity (Sheffield Univ.) and leading experts from chemical research in industry.
